While
in Havana recently for an exhibition I wandered about for an afternoon with
my newly acquired digital camera in hopes of finding some colorful objects to
photograph. These images are a random sample of things I encountered that day.
I really enjoyed watching the domino players. They get seriously into the games
which can become quite animated. I also stopped by an outdoor boxing gym where
young men and boys were getting instruction from a coach. Their equipment was
ragged, but they were getting a vigorous and disciplined work out.
